You will often hear Atheists say “There is no Proof that God exists”
They are not wrong! If there was irrefutable proof then we wouldn’t be debating it.
However what would be the point in God being an absolute fact?
Let me give you an example. Remember when you learned to drive a car in the proper manner in order to gain a Driver’s Licence. How do you drive now? In most cases not generally well enough to pass the current driving test. My point with this example is that if God’s existence was an absolute uncontested fact would you be living your life as you do now, knowing the existence of Heaven and Hell, forever, would also be very real. Like the Driving test example would you be living your life in a style to obtain a pass into Heaven?
This is how God can truly judge the souls that come to Earth. God in his wisdom leaves footprints or evidence if you like to be found be those who seek the truth.
Without going into the evidence that upholds the Bible and the life of Christ, you can see evidence in much more recent times. Mary’s visits to Lourdes in France 1858 and Fatima in Portugal 1917 are two cases in point.
You need only to research any of the 67 approved miracles of Lourdes to know that something extraordinary happened, then to top it all the little girl Bernadette (now Saint Bernadette) who saw Mary the mother of Jesus, died in 1879 and whose body can be seen in the cathedral at Nevers in France, displayed in a glass coffin, her body as perfect as when she was alive, She remains incorrupt to this day some 147 years after her death.
Fatima is equally a case in point. Three young children over several months saw Mary in 1917 which finally concluded on October 13th 1917 with the “Miracle of the Sun” witnessed by 80,000 people. Furthermore when the body of Jacinta one of the children who Mary appeared to, who died in1920 was exhumed in 1935 and 1951 her body also was incorrupt.
I’ll leave you with this thought, If no God exists then nothing supernatural would ever happen.
